Proverbs 29

Proverbs 29

“He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.
If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest.
A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul. Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭29:1, 5, 9, 11, 17-18, 23‬ ‭
When we yield our soul to Christ it becomes His own fortress, which He holds in a revolted world, and in it no other authority can be held except that of God’s. We need to worry less about what man can do and have more confidence in what God can do for everyone that believes. He wants us to put aside our pride and reach for the impossible things of His Kingdom through faith so He can show us the Treasures He is waiting to give us. God promises to take care of everything we need if We seek Him first. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” And He gives us that as our first marching order “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33 & 28:19-20‬
The first consideration of parents should be the saving of their children. It is this same tender loving instruction with which we are to reach others as well. Working with them in all areas of life genuinely caring for their physical and spiritual needs to show Gods love. As the world situations worsen it is our duty to avoid acting eccentric, or as fear mongers, or panicked; we should be positive as we should share hope with a happy and reassuring attitude with those around us, those who see us, hear us, and follow us. This is our testimony that God is in control and we are following His will obeying in His Spirit. When people wonder at the peace and joy in the middle of the storm we can point to our Savior and give them a reason for the hope that is in us. We can only have that if we are ready and sensitive to hearing His words. Describing His earthly mission, Jesus said, The Lord “hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” Luke 4:18 Jesus did not suppress one word of truth, but spoke in love. He exercised thoughtful, kind attention in His relationships with the people. He was never rude, never needlessly spoke a severe word, never gave needless pain to a sensitive soul. He did not censure human weakness. He spoke the truth, but always in love. These are the steps we are to follow. Have an awesome day!
