Proverbs 11

Proverbs 11

Today’s proverbs is from chapter 11.
“A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them. Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. The righteousness of the blameless keeps his way straight, but the wicked falls by his own wickedness.
Those of crooked heart are an abomination to the Lord, but those of blameless ways are his delight.
Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭11:1-5, 20, 25, 30‬
In today’s society we are taught to value any sharp dealing that give us an edge over those we are dealing with. I’m not talking about saving money or looking for better quality. In dealing with people it is important to deal with integrity, to be honest and fair. It is more important to let our light shine and lost a little financially than to gain at the cost of having dealings that dont show Gods character. God can give prosperity to the working men whose means are acquired honestly. But His curse rests upon all that is gained by selfish practices. In all our business or dealings we are to manifest His mercy and goodness so that what is important to us is His character above any personal benefit. This type of influence is felt and seen more than it is preached or heard and had a far greater impact. Learn to reflect the light. Have an awesome day
